Power System Projects Ltd. provide specialist services to a wide range of clients involved in the design and construction of EHV and HV electricity projects. We specialise in the design management of 400 kV, 275 kV and 132 kV substation projects and provide consultancy services and training to blue chip UK power companies.

Working alongside both client organisations and their key suppliers, we can assist in the preparation of front-end feasibility studies for proposed EHV connections, asset replacement and infrastructure projects. We can then facilitiate the development of these designs into project solutions.

Our clients in this area of work include National Grid and its key solution providers.

Training can be provided for all engineers and managers involved in the power business with courses ranging from project management skills through to commissioning activities.

Our latest courses include revisions workshops (with pre-authorisation exam papers) for engineers and site staff preparing for the National Grid TP144A authorisation. Other specialities include a National Grid documentation familiarisation day for substation designers and project engineers.

During the detailed design phase, expert assistance is available to enable suppliers to integrate their solutions into the National Grid system.

Specialist design areas such as design control, audit and design intent documentation can be managed by Power System Projects Ltd. and by working alongside the designers and project managers of the client and supplier organisations, full integrated project solutions can be more effectively managed.
